WHAT IS THE LOVE LAMASCO POSITIVE IMPACT FUND?

The Positive Impact Fund is money awarded directly to Lamasco neighbors of all backgrounds who have ideas for projects they can do to make a positive impact on the quality of life in the Lamasco Neighborhood. Projects are reviewed, approved, and funded by residents of the Lamasco Neighborhood in partnership with Renew Christian Church and other neighborhood stakeholders.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO FINANCIALLY INVEST IN NEIGHBORS' IDEAS AND DREAMS?

Lamasco neighbors have the power and ability to create the change they want to see in the neighborhood! When neighbors are connected, we can leverage each other’s experiences, knowledge, abilities, talents, skills, and passions to make a positive impact.

The Positive Impact Fund allows residents of the Lamasco Neighborhood to receive direct, financial investments to accomplish their neighborhood-focused projects.

WHAT ARE THE GUIDELINES FOR POSITIVE IMPACT FUNDS AWARDS?

Positive Impact Funds can be awarded to neighbors living in the Lamasco Neighborhood who desire to complete new projects or expand existing projects. Funds can be awarded in any amount up to $1,000.
Positive Impact Funds will be awarded to fund projects that:

Contribute (at least in some small way), toward making Lamasco a great place to live.

Empower neighbors to make positive changes they dream and desire for the neighborhood.

Show a clear connection between the project and the goals of Love Lamasco.

Engage and bring together residents throughout the Lamasco neighborhood.

Provide short-term wins and visible results in 3 - 6 months.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION?
