Neighbors Unveil Their Plans for Positive & Lasting Change in Lamasco  

Neighbors are unveiling their plans for positive and lasting change in the Lamasco Neighborhood at a Neighborhood Celebration and Cookout. The Celebration will take place on Tuesday, September 17 at 6:00 PM in Eleventh Avenue Park (511 North Eleventh Avenue, Evansville, IN  47712). There will be free hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and Kona Ice.

Love Lamasco is a group of neighbors, businesses, organizations, and churches working together to make a positive impact in the Lamasco Neighborhood. For the last year, Love Lamasco has been surveying and listening to neighbors’ dreams and desires for the neighborhood’s future. Those dreams and desires have been published in the Love Lamasco Action Plan brochure that will be unveiled at the Neighborhood Celebration and Cookout on September 17.

In addition to unveiling the neighbors’ Action Plan brochure, Love Lamasco will also be awarding $10,000 of Positive Impact Awards directly to neighbors with ideas to make a positive impact in the neighborhood.
